  1. When taking in a new item in ie White wines-folder it would be good to automatically change the icon color for the same as the others.

  2. When taking product report at the end of day it would be easier if you could set a default for items that need to be inventoried daily ie beers, alcohol and soft drinks. So you don't for example miss one and have to do it again.

  3. We have a resort with multiple outlets (reception, restaurant, gift shop etc). When ever we sell something we have to choose the correct outlet every single time. This is somewhat annoying as our POS devices are stationary and always/99% of time tied to a particular outlet. Thus there is absolutely no need to confirm before every sales action that "yes, still the gift shop". Ideally we would select the outlet once and the system would remember that selection until changed. The current way is not very user-friendly.

  4. When the Service team is cancelling a product from an order, the kitchen gets the information as " invalidate order" but the reason the service writes down, they don't see. It would help to add the reason to the ticket so there is less questions.

  5. The possibility of changing the design of the reciepts for the guests would be much appreciated. At least just the top picture, which by now just is an extract from a google maps-like overview of the area. This does not look very professional - the company logo, for instance, would be much more applicable.
    Also, as others have mentioned, it would be much more professional is the products in the bundles could not be shown by default, as I don't think this necessarily is relevant info for the guests. Especially not if the bundle is made up by split products…

  6. Wanneer je op betalen klikt, is er nu maar 1 mews betaal terminal zichtbaar. Ik heb begrepen dat er nu geen functie is om er twee te selecteren in dit betaalscherm (naast cash, aanbieding verzenden, etc.) - dit lijkt een gemiste kans gezien vast meer bedrijven twee mews terminals gebruiken! ;)

  7. Possibility to exchange credit card to cash. If customer would like to get coins it would be nice to be able to charge credit card and then exchange it to cash.

  9. Digital orders should not need to be accepted in the POS and should instead print directly to the assigned printer. We work in a light staffed operation and constantly monitoring a tablet for orders is not efficient. I print out that is clearly visible is much easier for our operation

  11. Hemos implementado el programa hace unas semanas en nuestros hoteles y en todos estamos de acuerdo en que el tamaño de letra de las comandas es demasiado pequeño.
    Nuestra sugerencia es aumentar el tamaño de letra de los platos que aparecen en la comanda (la letra que sale antes de los platos se lee mejor).

  12. In certain hotels, predefined shift schedules are in place. During these shifts, the revenue recorded in the Mews POS system is expected to be allocated to a specific Revenue Center. Currently, staff members are required to manually assign each order to the appropriate Revenue Center. It would be highly beneficial to have a feature that automatically assigns the Revenue Center according to the time of day. For instance, all revenue generated between 06:00 and 11:00 hours could be automatically directed to the ‘Breakfast’ Revenue Center.

  13. Currently you need to define separate shortcut grids for Smartphone devices and Pad devices. This means double work when adding new products, and risk of inconsistencies between both device types.

  16. Please implement more granular customization options for bills. Specifically, there should be a way to account for the tax on restaurant items being sent by Lightspeed when the tax has already been applied. This is causing significant inconvenience for properties, as they are forced to manually remove the duplicate tax entries in Mews.

    Desired outcome:

    1. The total amount of the Lightspeed Bill to appear in MEWS as one product or line item that is not taxable.
    2. The Mews bill should only be showing taxes applied to Accommodation

  17. For both the customers and the servers, it would be ideal to offer a QR code that allows customers to place their orders directly from the table (without immediate payment). Then, whenever they wish (for example, at the end of the meal), they could also pay using the same QR code.

    This way, they wouldn’t need to wait for the bill. Additionally, if they are a group, they could easily split the bill as they see fit, without taking up the server’s time to process separate payments for everyone.

  19. I will waiters keep forgetting to log off can you put a 15 second timer on the tablets which logs them off automatically?

    This will ensure the right is getting the credit for the order.
