Since Optional Reservations are not confirmed reservations - client feels it would be best to not attach a Confirmation reference number in the emails until the customer actively confirms the booking. All main Placeholders associated with Reservation details or Summaries include a Confirmation number - even for Optional Reservations.

    Email Templates associated with Optional Booking should only confirm a summary of the reservation details without a confirmation number. Perhaps adding a specific placeholder just for the templates triggered by Optional Reservations could be useful.

  4. It would be great to have the option to deactivate the service charge in additional services. Like a tick box where they could say if a service charge would apply or not.
    This would eliminate that the user charges the service charge by accident, leading to postings in wrong accounting categories, eventually even wrong VATs.
    Now with the new design where the service charge it is on top of all additional products, it is easier to fill in the service charge and forget about the product.

  5. We need to refine the filtering of the accounting ledger to display only entries that have already occurred, and excluding those that are scheduled for the future. To prevent entries labeled 'to be resolved' from appearing until after all items on a reservation have been completed. For instance, a reservation in our system is todasy 29.feb marked 'to be resolved,' but the guest will not check out until March 6th. We cannot send the invoice before after the guest has left the hotel..

  8. It would be good if it were possible to make tasks on the block and not just individual bookings.
    For things to follow up on regarding the group, e.g. follow up if we have received the name list.

  10. Add an extra column to the timeline to add certain importnat and rate / occupancy related events such as conventions, sport, concert, in-house. Column should be right under the dates.

  11. Access to reservations, but read only. This is useful for smaller properties where for example the security guard needs to check passports/ID to make sure the correct person is in front of them.

    But then don't give them the access to make any changes to them.

  12. If there are multiple public rates within the same rate group, MEWS will only display the cheapest option in the booking engine.

    This causes issues for us for example when publishing our Christmas packages. They would both fall under the same rate group (PKG - Package incl. breakfast in this example), but since one package includes dinner and the other one a *****, only the cheaper ***** package will be shown to our guests.

    Now we worked our way around it by creating an additional rate group for the dinner package, however this is causing us to create…

  13. If a guest books a specific product such a pet, the task will be automatically created for the HSK team to insert a dog bed in the room.
    If the guest books a champagne/wine on arrival, an automated task will be created for RS to prep the champaign and bring to the room

    Define a commission rate attached to a TA (see possible rules, but at least a % on room rate or total stay) 
    Attach or detach automatically (OTA) or manually a TA to a reservation

  15. The summary of guest balance on the check-out page is pretty nice and allows us to see with a quick glance if the guest has something left to pay when leaving.
    It would be much better if that summary only showed the balance for the current stay and not the future stays of the guest.
    Most of our regulars have dozens of stays booked in advance and the check-out summary shows the total for all of them which is completely irrelevant during check-out.

  16. In housekeeping operations, efficiency and planning are key. Currently, housekeepers rely on a “fixed” amount of time per space, depending on the category, features, and other variables. To streamline this process, it would be highly beneficial to introduce a dedicated field within the Space Category settings for allocating the average time required to clean each space type.

    Example Time Allocations:

    Standard Room: 20 minutes
    Junior Suite: 45 minutes
    Shared Dormitory with 6 Beds: 1 hour

  18. It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.

    The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
    It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.

  19. Currently to get to the details section of a booking you have to click on the booking, move the mouse, and click detail.
    We should be able to just double-click the booking on the timeline and go directly into the details of the booking.

  20. When generating the reservation report using the parameters in the drop-down lists, why can't we tick several items (like it's possible for the segments), but for all ? e.g. room categories or rates or nationalities or countries etc ?
