Copy group reservation
We would like the function to copy a reservation with the exact same information as the original booking, that would help a lot with the big bus groups.

Upgrade or change room category without changing block
It should be possible to change the room category of a reservation from a block without changing the block. It is critical that for example the Front Desk are able to change room type(by changing the room number), or upgrade easily from the reservation without changing the availability block. This used to be possible, so please bring it back.

Dynamic pricing for group blocks
It is not possible to use dynamic rates for availability blocks, only set rates. As some groups or crews have dynamic agreements, this means the hotel can’t set the correct rate for them.
Since Mews now will work on groups with different release dates etc. (“allotment”) will it be considered to also look into dynamic pricing from availability blocks?

availability block - Allow room moves without adjusting the availability block after release date
Currently, after a guest associated with a group block checks in and wants to be moved to a different room type, we have to adjust or add the room type to the block. This is a few added steps for the FD and reservations. I suggest that when the availability block is released then the guest reservations are available to actual inventory opposed to that within the block.

Personalize price of the product in a group.
Be able to personalize the package and value of the product in a block of availability
The customer want to customize the price of the product per group.

Change a rate (code) for a reservation and to a group rate code
Often we get attendees that make reservations outside of the group block, usually by human error. It would be ideal if we can edit the rate code or change their rate to a group rate block and then, after changing the code, it automatically changes the room rate to match the group rate, applies the group routing rules, group product rules. I have seen this is all our previous PMS systems, I am confused why its not an option.

Mutiple Reservation Selection/ Edit Warning
When multiple reservations are selected within the group, users can easily make changes on the "Properties" tab or lock unlocking reservations and there are no warnings given.
It would be great if there is a small warning saying that the change will be applied to all the selected reservations.

Feature for space features in availability blocks
To be able to assign spaces as correct as possible for a group, there should be an option for feature requests in the availability block. So when you pick up the reservation from the block, it is auto-assigned to the correct space feature. Example: all crew want to have quiet rooms, or all wedding guests should have a sea view. This will be more efficient for the front desk that doesn't have to double check and re-assign spaces, and to make sure the guests get what is ordered without the possibility of human errors.

Availability Block - Build Rooming List Feature
Allow group managers and reservation managers to add rooming list to availability blocks. Just add the Rooming List feature that is in the guest reservation under groups to the availability block.

Group confirmation
Group confirmation should have a more simple overview, one line per space category and per single/double use. Each line should have the folloring "tabs"/information: number of rooms, unit price, total pris, VAT. Group bookers asks for a simple overview and not 120 lines for each room.
This confirmation should be generated in a PDF file and in vertical format.5 votes -
Group Overview
We need a group overview where we can see upcoming groups (groups in our case means minimum 10 rooms or more per booking).
Just an easy overview of all the group (not individual booking) maybe a month ahead. It could be in a report or by similar to timeline.

Group Block Agreement
To expand on the new Group Blocks feature, I would love a simple Group Block Agreement form/report that summarizes the number of rooms blocked, the dates associated with the rooms and the nightly (pre-tax) rooms rate.
It would have a customizable "terms" section where we can note cancelation policies, block release date etc and have a signature page for the client to sign.
Right now we have to generate this outside of Mews, which creates additional work. Happy to send you a sample of what we are looking for!

Group reservations booker/owner
A better and quicker way to name the group different from the booker. Now it is a mess to get it changed properly. It is always switching and the group name cannot be different as the booker of the group on an easy way.

Specific Room Assignment in the Group Blocks
Enable assigning specific rooms to the group block. Properties should be able to block specific room numbers for the group so that the groups are staying close to each other.

Remove one (or more) booking(s) from group
Is there a way to move one or more bookings from one group to either a new one or another already excising group?
merge doesn't work as it somehow moves ALL the group bookings even if you only have ticked those that you need to move.
if not possible, could it be made possible please as sometimes you add a booking by mistake and now you need to cancel it and make again. if the guest is already in-house, that is of course not an option!5 votesHello from the Mews product team,

Possibility to detach/unmerge a room from a group
Sometimes rooms are added to a group that do not appear to belong together, or an error occurs and a room is added to a group.
It would be practical if you could remove rooms from a group. Currently, this is not possible.

Group General Availability Block
When creating a new Availability block for a Group, provide a checkmark toggle that allows for booking out of general availability, rather than creating day by day by space category blocks.
- There are times we provide "rate offers" to groups without any specific room type commitment at all, ie. We'll provide a floating 20% discount on any room types we have available, up until a specific booking cut-off date. There are times we may also offer commission on the rooms that book.Voucher codes do not really work for us in these situations either, as they are not fenced…
