Display calendar events when creating a new reservation
If we already use the calendar events section in the property, it would really be most useful, to also show the number of an event in the calendar upon creating a new reservation. This would help to quickly explain our guests why there might be a higher rate or high demand for this period.

Hello Mewsers,
Thank you for your feedback, we have updated your request and set it as one to be upvoted by the Mews Community.

We would like it if the calender events you put in is displayed when you create a new reservation and when you choose date, as it is now you have to go back to the timeline to see the events.

Hi Mews, is there any progress on this idea / request? This would be very useful for our hotel!

Yes, this would be great! I always add the so called "tour operator stop sales" dates in the calender and now reservations cannot see these dates immediately when in the reservation screen.

This would help very much for taking bookings.

This would speed up the booking process without having to go back through to the calendar

When making a booking and we need to select a date; could we get the dates on the calendar highlighted to let us know something important is happening on this date, i.e bank holiday, special event, wedding, or any restrictions. As when making a booking on Mews, we don't always use the calendar therefor we can miss if there is something important happening on that date.

Agree, this would be great to have. This way we can also explain to our team members certain agreed rates over event periods and how to find these rates in order for them to book accordingly. Example: event period: Res search. Calendar shows Event text, explaining the team member what agreed rates have been offered and how to book this accordingly.
