  3. Even though you can manually move future bookings to a separate bill it would be really useful if Mews did this automatically. It sometimes gets missed by reception and charged by mistake.

  4. Since Mews is a cloud solution and therefore accessible from anywhere, it is important that users are careful to log out once they are no longer using the platform. To help increase security measures, a feature could be implemented to automatically log out Mewsers who have been inactive for a certain period of time. After this predetermined interval, users would then have to reenter their user details to access Mews again.

  6. There is no space to register the date of an card payment by terminal or an external payment, like a wire transfer. This is needed to keep the accounting reports correct, when a wire transfer is registed not on the same day.

  8. What we would like is to be able to change the PAX on a nightly basis.

    E.g.
    "Guest A" has reserved a room for 5 nights. On night 1,2,3 Guest A stays in the room alone. Night 4 & 5 "Guest B" will join "Guest A" in the same room.

    As for now we have no possibility to change the amount adults/children since there's already products that has been consumed previous nights. (breakfast --> via product rule)
    This makes our safety list, and other reports show the wrong amount of overnight guests and products.

  10. It will be very useful to put a note for each credit card in order to know if the credit card is a personal one or a professional one. So we will be able to take a deposit on the right CC and differentiate each CC.

  11. Sometimes clients book 2 consecutive nights through 2 different means. It would help the communication with housekeeping if the reception was able to "link" the 2 reservations together so it is clear that the same person stays in the room. Additionally, it would be helpful to have an automatic detection of this kind of things, like a notification warning us that a reservation has been made with a similar name a day before or after.

Could we have the possibility of coloring certain dates of the Mews calendar / planning of the establishment in order to reference the important dates of the year (events, holidays, vacations...). With, if possible, the possibility of adding a text when you pass the cursor over the date in question.

    For example :
    - Put the date of July 14 in green with the text "Holiday: French National Day"
    - Put in red January 10 with the text "congress".

  14. Order spaces within the Space category in the timeline.
    At the moment, we can't order bedrooms as we wish in the timeline.
    Depending on the location of the bedroom in the building, it makes more sense to have it in a certain order.
    The default order does not facilitate operations.

  16. It would be nice to have the name of the employee who left a note on the reservation, This way is easier for departments to communicate. Since everyone needs to login with their own credential Mews should display who wrote the note. This will be a helpful tool for management to follow up with the person who's left a specific note on reservation. (e.g. guest complained about noise, the manager will be able to follow up with the receptionist who left the note- for more details.)

  17. When a guest ask for a quotation with different kind of product (night, breakfast, lunch, dinner, pic nic……) it would be great to have the complete breakdown with each product clearly identified.
    Currently, Mews does not offer the possibility to identify products and offer the total amount without any detail.

  18. Spaces are often priced by category, however additional pricing schemes could become available with the possibility of pricing spaces according to the number of guests accommodated. With the availability of occupancy-based pricing options, properties would have the possibility to set rate price based on the number of people staying in the space rather than applying an empty bed adjustment. This would enable much more pricing flexibility for revenue managers, which could additionally provide even more attractive prices for guests.

    For example: A room could be priced at 100 Euros for 1 person, but the same room could be priced at…

  19. Group bookings can complicate payments, especially if all bookings are being paid for by a single party. Adding the capability to pay deposits for the group as a whole could provide a solution, as this could simplify the payment process for many business travelers or any other group travelers.

  20. We need a group overview where we can see upcoming groups (groups in our case means minimum 10 rooms or more per booking).
    Just an easy overview of all the group (not individual booking) maybe a month ahead. It could be in a report or by similar to timeline.
    The headline per group should be the travel agency name or company name.
