Exporting users in operational Mews
Good evening Mews team
I request your support to enable the option to export the users created in operational mews, because when you want to perform an audit you have to be copying the data manually 1 to 1 and that makes it tedious.
The data that the users have is required to be exported in a complete way to be able to have it at hand when required.
NOTE: I have already performed and reviewed the steps having the admin of mews university and it does not give me this option, therefore I request the enabling.

Wir würden gerne über eine gefilterte Menge an Gästen oder Interessenten individuelle EMails versenden. Diese Emails möchten wir als Vorlage abspeichern können.
Es wäre toll, wenn es die Möglichkeit zur Erstellung von individuellen Anschreiben und Emails gäbe. Ein einfacher HTML-Editor wäre wundervoll.3 votes -
Permission to export the customer database
Ability to block exports of the ‘Customer Profile’ report for certain user roles.
A receptionist on a temporary contract (i.e. working only 1 or 2 days in the hotel) can, if he or she wishes, export the whole of the hotel group's customer database by means of an Excel export filtered by creation date.

Add user creation information to the action log
We can see when a user was created but not by who. It would be great to have this information too.

Separate housekeeping permissions for marking rooms as clean or checked
We would love to have a different role options for our housekeeping so that only the houskeeping manager can "check" a room. Everyone else should just be able to put the room to "clean".
That is not yet possible.

Add 'Access to the Reservations Report' to the permissions which can be assigned to a user
Mews is implementing many extra ways to secure the user account.
However, if it happens that a hackers gains access to the Mews system, you are pretty much done.All users have access to the Reservations Report, and if the Permission 'View Customer Data' is given to the user (which it will be in 99.9% of the cases) the hacker can easily export the Reservations Report including ALL of the guests private information.
If access to the Reservations Report is either available as an individual permission, or added to the permission 'Access to sensitive reports' a hotel can protect themselves…

We highly value the flexibility and efficiency Mews provides in managing our daily operations. However, we would like to suggest an improvement to further enhance security and accountability within the platform, particularly concerning refunds.
Currently, refund permissions in Mews are not granular enough to allow businesses to effectively control the maximum refund amounts that can be processed by various team members. This presents challenges in maintaining financial oversight and ensuring that only authorized personnel handle larger refunds.

Activation and deactivation of users
In the user management section, it would be nice to simply deactivate or reactivate user profiles. Sometimes users work for seasons and leave the company for a few months between seasons. Currently, if you want to stop the access to Mews, you have either to remove the rights of the user or you have to delete the profile and recreate a new profile when the user comes back. Split create and manage customer and company profiles permissions
To ensure some employees can not create or edit company details as we do this on management level only, due to credit checks prior to invoicing.

Protect property financial information by restricting low level users payment or reservation reports
It would be nice to be able to put a limit on how far back users can make reports. For example; with the current payment report a low level user can see all payments and revenue years back. This doesn't make sense to me at all.

Make it easier to give access to relevant reports when assigning roles
Please split the different available reports in the Permissions tab when assinging roles to employees.
This way we can make several reports, like a reservations report, available for a number of employees who need this while they do not need permission to the Accounting report or Accounting ledger f.e.2 votes -
Employee restrictions on bookable services
An employee can only see one bookable service, but not the other. This is useful when there is a management company with lots of different clients/bookable services and everyone has only access to their own bookable service.

Refund permission
Modify user permission (Charge Cards online) - It would be good to have our Reception team be able to take payments but not process refunds. This should be done by Management only.

Audit Logs: Reinforce and Increase Admin Access
IT and Property Admins are requesting a more robust platform for their permissions where they can manage login audits (for example) for the properties they are running so they can react more urgently and proactively when necessary without needing to involve the Support team as the first plan of action(especially in time-sensitive cases).

Interne Buchungseingabe trotz Restriktion
Sobald eine Restriktion gesetzt ist, kann man auch als Mitarbeiter keine Buchung mehr eingeben. Eine Funktion, die dieses möglich macht, wäre praktisch. Denn manchmal soll nur für extern gesperrt werden, aber intern können Zimmer vergeben werden (zum Beispiel bei exklusiven Veranstaltungen). Jetzt muss man immer die Restriktion löschen, ganz schnell die Buchung einpflegen und dann wieder schnell die Restriktion eingeben damit online nicht gebucht wird. Das ist mühsam und eindeutig ein Mehraufwand.

Limit the possibility to merge customers.
Our organisation has a lot of problems with incorrectly merged customers, which can become a sensitive GDPR issue.
We would like the function to be locked behind a certain permission that can be assigned to users.

the news device authentication feature email informing a user of a new login is a nice addon, however a copy to the property admin even better; as the property admin can easily filter any particulars as to whom and when, as well as the location.
as the location is usally (close) to the actual physical address of a hotel, there are numerous questions when it is not 100%, and the champion can then tacle this issue first hand
