  1. Being able to set a reservation cut off would greatly help properties that are not staffed 24/7.

    For example, setting a reservation cut off time at 10pm if front desk closes at 10pm to avoid guests booking after front desk has closed. This would be so helpful for properties like ours that can not be staffed 24/7

  2. The guest can check in at kiosk even if the balance is 1.000 DKK - due routing rule. Company has a) guest who always get sent a bill to company and b) guest who needs to pay themselves at the hotel. The host gets the room amount back to guest profile from company, but the kiosk do not ask the guest to pay. So the guest check in and out without paying.
    Here: The kiosk should see the balance for asking payment.

  3. Often we require the guests address for statistics or police reporting purposes. It would be great if guest address would be part of the rooming list to bulk upload those addresses.

  4. All governmental and municipality has EAN numbers in Denmark for billing.
    We are setting the EAN number in billing code.
    We would like to search the company with EAN number - quick and easy.

  5. It looks in the timeline that we have rooms available. But there is availability blocks that's not shown in the timeline, it is miss leading and the front desk can think there is availability but actual there is no rooms available due to the availability block.

    Would be helpful if the block could be shown in the timeline with a link to the actual block.

  6. When we changed the tab under stay- Responsibility-Notify responsible employee about and removed Commander from that we stopped getting notifications when we get a cancellation from booking. We removed it because we didnt want to get emails after every booking we make in mews, is there some way so we can get the reservations notifications regarding the cancellations or it automatically always affect both ?

  7. For properties that have connected their key software with Mews PMS, add a "read key" button to the departures list to find reservations quicker for check-out. Less typing or scanning through a long list...

    Maybe even add that button above the timeline. That way we could just put the guest's key on the card reader, click the button and instantly know exactly which room/ bed they are in.

Il arrive très souvent que les clients se présentent au check in seuls alors que la réservation était faite pour 2 personnes ou que la répartition du nombre de personnes (adultes, ados, enfants, bébés) ait besoin d'être modifiée. Il y a au moins systématiquement les taxes de séjour en produits réservables additionnels ainsi que des petits-déjeuners packagés (avec des tarifs différents selon l'âge des occupants) si le tarif est BB. On voudrait avoir plus d'options pour notamment pouvoir "conserver l'ancien prix de l'hébergement" et non pas "conserver l'ancien prix" comme actuellement qui est en fait le prix total hébergement +…

  10. Currently if a use attempts to set an early arrival for a booking (especially Availability Block group) the early Check-In time is rejected because the block is missing the necessary adjustments. In other words, the system cannot consider early check-in due to conflict with the occupancy time established in the stay settings.

    However, this is an avenue for additional income and also for personalized service - clients often find themselves without many options when it comes to that.

    On top of the possibility to create "Early C/I products", there should also be a button that could facilitate an earlier check-in…

  11. Bij het wijzigen van arrangement in een bestaande reservering, worden items die niet in het nieuwe arrangement horen automatisch verwijderd. Momenteel moet dit handmatig gedaan worden.

  12. Currently, once we click on the “Rate for additional nights” option, we can only choose our standard (public) rates, even though the initial reservation was created for a company rate. It would be great if that feature were extended.

  13. Das Anliegen ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber es wäre toll, wenn man irgendwo ein Anfangsdatum anlegen muss, dass das Enddatum automatisch NACH dem Anfangsdatum wäre. Wenn man Restriktionen erstellt, ist es ja auch immer so, dass wenn ich z. B. "von 1.6.25" anklicke, bei "bis" automatisch ein Datum ab dem 1.6.25 wählbar ist.

    Bei vielen anderen Punkten im System ist es nicht so, da steht dann bei "bis"-Daten immer automatisch das heutige Datum, also z. B. wenn ich einen Promocode anlege und bei "für Reservierungen ab dem..." den 1.6.25 anwählen würde, lande ich bei "Reservierungen bis" wieder beim heutigen Datum…

  15. There is a huge problem in Mews when it comes to availability blocks and overbooking.

    Right now, if you for example have all existing standard rooms blocked in an availability block, and then there is an overbooking of a standard room, this overbooking will not show on the availability overview. It will just say that the availability for standard rooms is 0, and not -1. So then if you look at the availability overview, it will say for example that we have 0 standard rooms available and 1 superior room, so it looks like we have one room available, but…

  16. Displaying rates on the timeline makes it very efficient to quote rates and availability to guests who call or walk-in. We had this feature on Think Reservations and it made taking a reservation a breeze.

  17. When you dowload an excel rooming list from a group reservation, all reservations are shown in a random order on the excel sheet, and this is not possible to change! Preferably I would like to at least have the reservations sorted by arrival date, but that is not the case right now. It would be good if the default sorting was the arrival date. Or it would be even better if you could change the sorting yourself however you like, but right now since the excel sheet is locked it is not possible. Please look into this.

  18. It would be important to have the possibility to generate an alarm pop-up at check in.

    Often parcels, letters, messages have to be handed over, the director or supervisor should be called. Such messages make daily life much easier, but they are difficult or impossible to see in the property note or have to be actively searched for.

  20. We really appreciate if there will be possibility to specify age categories to two decimal places (e.g. babies 0-2.99, childrens 3-11.99). These logic is used by lots of OTA´s and we would like to set up our WBE by the same principal to be able to offer the same prices to our guest.
