  1. We often have groups staying on the basis of bed & breakfast for the first night and a package deal from the second night onwards.

    We would like to be able to indicate in one reservation cq room, per night, which rate or rate group should be used. So not the PRICE, but actually select a specific rate type.

    Now we have to make two separate reservations, which is very confusing for our Housekeeping and Front Office.

  2. When creating a new reservation and you have multiple services to choose from, make the whole row for the service clickable, instead of just the "Select" button on the right.

  3. Es wäre toll, wenn man mehrere Zimmer out of order setzen könnte und nicht jedes einzelne Zimmer sperren muss. Es geht um die Sperrfunktion, die in der Zeitachse sichtbar ist.

  4. It should be possible to set the order of the rates yourself in the reservation form. At the moment it is apparently incomprehensibly coincidental.

    The ordering works in the settings but not in the reservation form.
    It is very annoying when you have to open the dropdown menu every time because the most booked rate is not displayed first.

  5. The option of setting automatic alerts to pop-up during different stages of reservations, such as during check-in, any time you open the reservation, during check-out. The alert text should be customizable, so a user can enter anything there, but also the possibility of adding standard alerts depending on membership level, profile classifications, specific rates, etc.

  6. I would like to indicate how many guests are staying each of the nights in a reservation. Similar to how you can edit the price of each individual night within the Pricing tab of a reservation, but instead of editing the price, you would like a feature or a way in which to indicate the number of guests on a reservation in each individual night.

  9. Displaying the rate (Best rate of the day) on the calendar would save time on two levels:
    1- When making a reservation, it would be possible to inform the customer at a glance about the availability of a room and to communicate the rate of the room.

    2- displaying the rates on the calendar would help to check the correct configuration of the rates and to make changes/adjustments if necessary.

  10. Das Anliegen ist nur eine Kleinigkeit, aber es wäre toll, wenn man irgendwo ein Anfangsdatum anlegen muss, dass das Enddatum automatisch NACH dem Anfangsdatum wäre. Wenn man Restriktionen erstellt, ist es ja auch immer so, dass wenn ich z. B. "von 1.6.25" anklicke, bei "bis" automatisch ein Datum ab dem 1.6.25 wählbar ist.

    Bei vielen anderen Punkten im System ist es nicht so, da steht dann bei "bis"-Daten immer automatisch das heutige Datum, also z. B. wenn ich einen Promocode anlege und bei "für Reservierungen ab dem..." den 1.6.25 anwählen würde, lande ich bei "Reservierungen bis" wieder beim heutigen Datum…

  12. Different email templates (confirmation/ prestay++) for different seasons

    Situated in the middle of the mountains of Norway we run very differently summer and winter. Mews is great with giving the customers helpful information before the stay which makes it much easier for us at the reception. But: we need to re-write the templates two - three times per year, adjust them to winter info/ summer info/ autumn info.
    Maybe this is special for us, but I wonder if not also bigger hotels could think of adjusting pre-information to seasons like x-mas and summer breaks.

  14. There is a huge problem in Mews when it comes to availability blocks and overbooking.

    Right now, if you for example have all existing standard rooms blocked in an availability block, and then there is an overbooking of a standard room, this overbooking will not show on the availability overview. It will just say that the availability for standard rooms is 0, and not -1. So then if you look at the availability overview, it will say for example that we have 0 standard rooms available and 1 superior room, so it looks like we have one room available, but…

  15. It would be important to have the possibility to generate an alarm pop-up at check in.

    Often parcels, letters, messages have to be handed over, the director or supervisor should be called. Such messages make daily life much easier, but they are difficult or impossible to see in the property note or have to be actively searched for.

  16. It would be extremely helpful to be able to write comments on reservation directly from the reservation overview report instead of having to click details->administer->properties and THEN be able to write a comment. After all of that, you cannot even just click back, because then you will come to the home screen and not the reservation overview report again. It would save us alot of time, especially us who write comments on almost every single reservation when we go through them for the day to check for extra needs, memberships etc :)

  17. When a reservation has met the conditions of a "No-show" automatically, there should be a sequence of events for Mews to automatically add (not only) the Cancellation Fee + Payment + balanced Bill Closure at the end.

  18. It should be possible to do a rate note that follow in a reservation everytime a new reservation is made with the rate. That would make it easier if the company have prefered things or just for invoicing.

  19. Show Rates connected to Segment. We have certain rates with certain segments. When creating a booking and so choosing a segment it should only show rates with that segment.

When you have a overbooking of a space category in the future, i.e. December, and you are creating an Availability Block on the a previous date, i.e. June, the overbooking reduces the availability of that space category in June as well. The availability calculation strategies diffusive or discrete, should have in consideration the actual dates of the booking in overbooking. To have the availability on the availability block we have to go to that future booking, and change the requested category to a higher space category and then go back to the availability block, so the real availability can be…
