  1. When creating the reservation report each day, there are always the "internal use" rooms to be put on by hand - and therefore, of course could be forgotten....

    It would be helpful, if these rooms also would be on this report automatically - like they also show up on the list "guests in house" by downloading to excel.

    ...and why they are not shown on the dashboard as arrivals or departures?

  2. Within some states in the US, there is a maximum number of square feet (or metre) that an individual can clean during their shift. To help ensure that this limit is not being exceeded, it would help to have the measurements of the room listed within the Housekeeping part of Mews.

  3. We have rooms that need more time to be cleaned, which is why we have to block them for the night after the guests check out. It would be great if the system could do that automatically as soon as those rooms have been booked. As for now, we need to block the rooms manually everytime it is booked...

  4. I would like to be able to prioritise which spaces need to be cleaned first when assigning spaces to my employees.

    Please may you add the filters for example dirty departed and departing in space assignment form.

  5. Rooms with checkout on same day must be near to each other, this would be good for an effektive Housekeeping. Can be optimized by booking.

  6. I wish to be able to have a locked view setting / ghost view when assigning in the morning. This to to let employees see too soon what floors/section they are on.

    Reasons: It could cause unneccisarry stress, we might need to change and they like to plan before work. As employees can use the app in their private phones, they are able to start processing when they shouldn't. And its a help for them to not work, before work. Even thouh we start assigning 1-2h before actual start for all employees.

  7. Zurzeit sind nur Reservationsnotizen im Mews-App ersichtlich. Dabei fehlen aber die Notizen vom Gast (z.B. wünscht zwei Kissen). Ist es möglich, dass die Gästenotizen mit der Rubrik "Housekeeping" auch auf der Mews-App hinterlegt sind? Somit muss die Rezeption die Notizen nicht jedesmal kopieren.

  8. We would love to have 3 pahce check for housekeeping.
    One when room is cleaned, one for inspected and one for maintenance to finish as we have a lot of things to take to consideration before the room is ready for guests.

  9. Nous utilisons actuellement room check in (HOPR) et nous avons des textes et photos afin que nos employés d'entretien ménager puissent voir les standards des unités avant de faire les ménages. nous aimerions faire la même chose dans Mews.
    We currently use room check in (HOPR) and we have texts and photos so that our housekeeping employees can see the standards of the units before cleaning. we would like to do the same in Mews.

  10. When allocating room numbers to employees it is not possible to see if a room is already allocated to another employee. Most days our houskeeping manager devides about 100 room, and its easy to miss that you have allready allcoted the room. It also dose that she acually prints out the list, marks the rooms on paper, and then allocate the rooms in MEWS operations.

    Rooms should be marked/flaged when assigned to make it easier.

  11. Allow a manager to set the minutes per room as a goal time for due outs and stay overs. Have this option to print on the housekeeping assignee report to be able to set a goal time and accountability for the staff.

  12. If 3 rooms can be sold as AB, BC, and ABC, we currently cannot allow for multiple parent rooms (blocking AB and BC from BOTH being sold)

  13. I would be helpful, if the housekeeping could see stay products which could for example be a fruit basket or pralines in the room.
    We have some rates for Specials that require a certain preparation from the housekeeping. Therefore it would be helpful, if the houseekeeping team could see the products and rates in their app.

  14. Have a link to directly downlad the api for the Mews Application for android and apple phones. As we have company pads and phones and do not want to use our private gmail accounts to access google appsstore.

  15. When you move a reserveration from one room to another, both rooms become dirty. Is it possible to add an option in stay for the new room (which is inspected)
    to stay inspected.

    That the room that the guest has moved to stays inspected. The prior rooms can stay dirty just the new room keeps it status. As after midnight inspected rooms become clean then dirty after housekeeping intervall. This way we can keep track of linen change and don't have to manually change it after every move.

    Just have as an option if other hotels don't use the system…

  16. Nous utilisons l'application 1check pour gérer les chambres à nettoyer.
    Nous avons la possibilité de laisser un commentaire pour la femme de chambre.
    Actuellement MEws envoie à 1check le commentaire laissé dans la partie NOTE de MEWS.
    Le problème c'est que MEWS ne différencie pas le commentaire pour la reception ou le commentaire pour la partie MENAGE.

    Il faudrait avoir une case où l'on peut laisser un commentaire uniquement à l'attention de le femme de chambre : exemple : 2 lits
