  1. To keep our team safe during the pandemic, we would like to automatically quarantine a room after a check-out for 24 or 48 hours before our housekeeping team enters the room to prepare it.

    This helps us protect our team, and gives guests confidence that the room is safe from COVID-19.

  2. Can we have a column on the space status report displaying how long a room has been vacant for? This is especially useful for Legionella purposes for example. Thanks

  4. Housekeepers change dirty stayover rooms to clean after a stayovercleaning. The room status does not change automatically overnight. As the guest is the day after also a stay over and needs cleaning aswell.

    The housekeeping system in Mews is currently based off cleaned rooms being inspected by a supervisor including for overnight stays. When rooms are inspected, they are then turned dirty overnight.


    Would you be able to share some examples of why rooms would not be inspected by a supervisor or manager for overnight stays?

  6. Add the calendar to the Commander app, to be able to jump to a date other than today.It's in the report, so add it to app too. Used for planning by HSK executive.

  7. In the Housekeeping App when a reservation has Arrived, the space turns to Dirty / Arrived and the time of arrival. We currently have reservations "Arrived" or "Arriving", but not an "Occupied" state for Housekeeping. This can be confusing for some housekeepers using the housekeeping app as the Arrived and Arriving look very similar. For most properties, if you have arrived, you are now "occupying" the space and therefore the space is now Dirty / Occupied. Possibly the tag for Arrived could be expanded to say Arrived / Occupied in a different color. The following day if the guest is…

  8. make it easy for house keeper by just giving data the check out or the stay which makes them feel more comfortable and the paper looks nice and clean as housekeepers do not need the name of the guest.

  9. Status screen, an besides of just having the time/hour the check-out was made, couldn’t there also be some other kind of indication (like C/O) that the room/bed was already checked-out too?

  11. In the "Assign spaces to employees" window it is possible to set filters for space status like dirty, clean etc. It would be great if we can also filter arrivals, stay over and departures rooms on a specific day!

  12. Housekeeping - assigning multiple employees (ie. 2) to the same space.

    Housekeeping would like to assign two housekeeping employees to the same room i.e. one for the bathroom and one for the remaining of the room.

  15. First of all, the app works great for us. But please make it possible to set a default on own preferences. As an example. We would like to see the tasks always on date type: 'deadline'. But the app shows it standard on 'created'.

  16. Would it be possible to change the offset for the Legionella status from 7 to 5 days?

    Bureau de Wit writes that a report must be made within 5 or 6 days so that flushing can be carried out early and at the latest within 7 days.

    This is required by law in accordance with - NEN 1006+A1:2018. This is the same for every hotel in the Netherlands. So automatically a notification after 5 or 6 days. Then you still have time to rinse in time.

  18. In the previous version OOS-rooms
    Main screen/overview doesn't show the reason why OOS-rooms are OOS. In the previous version, staff could see whey a room was OOS and could anticipate instantly. Now they have to open the room to see, and that creates errors, especially as you then open the page in which they can make changes, rather than only consult.

  20. Housekeeping needs the information whether a child belongs to one or the other child category - in our hotel baby, kid or teen - housekeeping prepares a crib for a baby, a small bed for a child and a special place for teens - so they cannot work with the actual submitted informations.
    Please submit the child categories to the housekeeping reports.
