  1. Currently rooms have to be either:

    1) Dirty
    2) Clean
    3) Inspected
    4) Out of Service
    5) Out of Order

    However, some rooms may be Out of Service for a 'last let' reason and therefore may be Inspected and ready to go (but the team want to be aware that these rooms should only be used last). I think Out of Service and Out of Order should be separate room statuses and can be stackable with the clean state of the room.

  2. When the reception checks-out a reservation it would be nice to notify the housekeeping department so they can inform their teams.

  3. Providing a great experience often comes down to the very last detail, which is why little things, such as turndown service, can make a big difference in a guest's stay. As an additional space status, including turndown as part of your operations, could help add that special touch to guests' rooms during their stay.

  4. Our Back of House staff needs the ability to see next-day activities in the Mews Operations app so that staff doesn't need to access the Mews Commander Dashboard on a laptop or phone when looking forward outside of today's operations.

  5. It would be good if we could assign room credits for rooms to help the assignment process. Example, smaller rooms would get .75, standard rooms 1.0 and suites 1.5. Thereby, if each housekeeper could clean 12 credits daily, the system could calculate each room by value and assign accordingly. Additionally, stayovers would receive .25 credit against assignment as they take only 20 minutes to touchup versus a full clean would receive +.25 as they take longer to clean as determined by the property. Using this method would improve productivity and room assignment.

  6. Hi I believe a report that shows all traces by room number would be very helpful for our daily operations. We have plenty of HSKneeds for individual rooms and we need a report that has all the information by room number. E.g. room 205 is allergic to feather, room 206 wants romantic turndown service and room 320 wants service everyday at noon.

    A report that contains guests name, arrival/departure dates and all necessary information described above would help a lot. It would nice to be able to print it for a range of rooms too so that you can give…

  8. As housekeeping complete their daily cleaning schedule, they are often responsible for restocking minibar products or other room amenities. Therefore, adding stay product details within the Commander application could provide stocking information and reporting capabilities so that each room is prepared exactly right for the next arriving guest.

  11. I think most hotels are outsourced their room cleaning,
    So we must get a sum up from the PMS / or from the app the number of room cleaned and inspected during a period

  12. The ‘completed’ and ‘future’ tasks have the same colour scheme in the app. This is complete nonsense in terms of meaning.
    There should urgently be a third colour for the 3 statuses.

  13. It is absolutely necessary to have separate note categories for different departments. Reservations notes are often cluttered with automatic comments from OTAs and those are shown to housekeeping, too. It cannot be expected from housekeeping staff to weed through a sea of notes to find the relevant information for each room. This must be a separate note cetegory where reservation or front office can enter only a short comment for housekeeping (like "baby cot" or "allergy friendly blankets") - this field should be displayed in the app for HK and/or the housekeeping report.

  14. Why do you have a housekeeping app where you still need to pull a manual report for all the details? Can we have the fields in the housekeeping report added to the app so you can see how the rooms need to be set up for the next guest in terms of guest notes and the number of occupancies from a family of 4 to 2 people in the room, then help assist if the sofa bed would need to be put away.

  15. When receiving a message in commander app option should be available to display message as a translation ... eg message sent in english might display an option to show as a translation to a preselected language in the settings. Click on a "translate from english to X language" button and that will display as X language using google translate.

  19. Nice improvement, for us its not fully what we need yet. We have every 7 days a cleaning but in case someone stays 9 days it would be great if the system can smartly plan or you can manually move the cleaning to specific days. e.g. for the 9 days plan it in the middle in the stay.Nice improvement, for us its not fully what we need yet.   20. Is it possible to have different colours in the application for ”departed”, ”arriving”, ”arrived” and ”stayover”

    For example:
    ”departed” = green
    ”arriving”= orange
    ”arrived” = yellow
    ”stayover” = blue

    Currently, our cleaners easily get confused in a hurry, whether the guest is coming or has left, as all these markings are the same color.
