Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  2. Product rules should be possible to adapt based on arrival, origin, segment, rate, space etc. This allows us to automize specific charges and better work on upselling and creating new revenue streams!

  3. Problem:
    The order of the rates in the reservation screen cannot be customized/ changed.

    The ordering in the rate settings refers to the order within the Rate Group and the way these are displayed on Distributor, but they don't refer to the way these are displayed on the reservation screen.

    Solution:
    The ordering in the rate settings should not only refer to the order within the Rate Group and the way these are displayed on Distributor, but they should refer to the way these are displayed on the reservation screen as well.

  4. Send an automated email notification to make reservations aware there is a guest message waiting. This would save the team having to check MEWS messenger as well as emails.

  5. Give to each user the chance to change the reservation overview. Just give us more options, like in windows ( large icons, small icons, list and details).

  7. It would be great that we could set a ring/bell signal for some urgent tasks, like for: Late check out, wake-up call, any other urgent task. So you hear that something urgent needs to be done, also when you do not look at the desktop screen.

  8. Can you provide the snapshot of messages status on dashboard? Like similar to other donuts on the dashboard, messages replied & no replied. Thanks

  11. Additional/customizable origin options.

    When a reservation is created we have limited options to choose as the origin of the booking. We would like to have the option to customize these options ourselves to have a better overview of where the bookings come from.

  13. Have the option to send a link to the payment portal without amount, so the guest can enter their credit card securely. This is especially important for reservations via phone or email.

  14. At the moment in most cases we have to split reservations to perform a room change.
    It would be good to make a room move without any issues. One or two clicks the most would be good.

  15. Some stay products are only used by management or certain reservation agents.
    Now all other agents and staff have to go through a long list of products to find the product that they need for the booking. Therefore it would be much easier if you could offer certain products only to management or certain employees.

  16. Receive a notification (email) when a guest orders a product or service as an upsell at the kiosk check-in process. Currently this is only possible for all products and services ordered through both commander and channel. We would like to see the option to enable notifications only for kiosk transactions. In this way the reception knows which actions to take next.

  17. Right now, it is only possible to make a room move for an in-house guest when the room that you are planning to use hasn't been used during the time that that guest was staying. And this is very inconvenient when the guest that we are trying to move is a long-stayer. For example:

    Mr Smith has been staying from the 1/3 until 20/3.
    On the 15/3 I need to move him to room #219.
    In order for the system to allow me to do it, room #219 should have been empty since 1/3. So, if #219 was only used…

  18. We have some ‘Long stays’ but there is no where we can see the actual number of days they’re staying (without looking at the arrival and departure date and making the maths). It would help if there could be a way of having a number (it could be right next to the reservation dates and inside parentheses) indicating the total room nights of that reservation

  19. Being able to share / attach files in any internal or external communication.
    Sharing data in a similar way to Line (for example lost item, housekeeping issue pictures etc. )

  20. Would be great if you could create a Queue Booking system.
    In order to easely identify guest that have made the admin paperwork however their room wasn't ready.
    Help HSK to prioritize the cleaning . Help the Front office team to identify customer when thei are returning.
