  2. We would like to block the option of adding a Token to a Custom Link - we use the custom Links for passer by's, and would like to block the option of adding a token to this "paymaster" to avoid it to be changed at a later stage.

  3. Roomtype setup also needs to have the option to configure a rebate accounting categorie. We want to split revenue per roomtype with different accounting categories. This is possible, but when revenue is rebated it goes to a general rebate categorie instead of the configured room type accounting categories. Seems like the product team forgot to develop the rebate- and cancelled items accounting categories settings in the room type configuration section.

  9. Hi all,

    the action log sould be more easier to understand.

    The commands / logs that are recorded are not clear enough.
    If a guest checks out at the Mews Kiosk then in the action log it is:

    State changed from Started to processed ....

    That doesnt make any sense and staff do not know what action was beeing done. Better is to state: checked in or checked out...

  11. When choosing Charging "Once" and then Consumed at either "Reservation end" or "Reservation start" on a stay produkt, you shouldn't be required to enter date and time when adding the item to a reservation.
    I.e. "Late check out" would be set as "Once", and when adding it to a reservation you choose Count (no. of hours) and it would automatically be posted on the check out date.

  12. Have you been scared you did a manipulation on production instead of demo? Especially when you started with Mews and everything you looked at was new to your eye? It happened to me a lot, and I thought the blue demo logo maybe isnt big enough... actually if the entire top banner was blue it would be so much easier to identify and remove all doubts about which environment we're working on (for us and for hotels too)!

  13. Currently Mews does not show rate group description and rate description when multiple rates are available within one rate group. This is not ideal for any hotel that may have multiple properties to manage as well as multiple reservationists. Its unreasonable to expect for reservationists and multiple property management to remember or recall information that is vital to relay to the guest at time of booking. Most hotels have multiple rates so this is a feature that is 100% missing and required for Mews tobe competitive in the PMS market for groups and PMS for hotels.

  14. As a property that hosts guests for long stays, it is important to know what guest is associated with what product.

    When a product is charged (1x) and consumed by one person and two people are on a reservation, there is no way to determine what guest is associated with what product. This gets more complicated the more products purchased that are for single consumption.

  17. Make the "send marketing postal mail" option available alongside "send marketing emails" in the mews import file.

    Many hotels – including ours – are treating e-mail opt-in differently from postal opt-in and would like to import their customer information accordingly.

  18. When using the search bar for reservation 123 Mews often displays too many results as it includes anything with 1 , 2 , or 3. Recently had to search for confirmation 61 and the list of matching results was too long. Should be able to filter exact search therefore returns one match as the reservation is a unique number.

  20. We work with two bookable services; stay and shortstay, using the same rooms. We want to ensure availability until a certain time for our shortstay partners therefore, we are using availability blocks with the moving release option. Unfortunately, the availability blocks are only blocking rooms in one bookable service. Making it possible to book the blocked rooms in the stay bookable service. It would be great if the system blocks these rooms in both services when adding an availability block in one of the services.
