  1. Properties would love the option to either package the bill as a whole line OR to have each line packaged per daily consumption therefore offering businesses that require it an itemized bill.

  3. Routing rule with the following options:

    • The company is responsible and the booker is automatically linked. For groups it would be helpful that all the chosen costs will automatically routed to the same bill. It's not nice that a separate invoice is created for each guest of a group.

    We use this for our invoices with reimbursement of costs. Because the companies want to have a Person who is in charge for the cost and to release the invoice for payment.

  4. Currently to get to the details section of a booking you have to click on the booking, move the mouse, and click detail.
    We should be able to just double-click the booking on the timeline and go directly into the details of the booking.

  5. It would be great to have a list of all pro formas that have been sent, because now they cannot be found anymore once it is sent.
    For example, an extra selection under 'bills and invoices'.

  6. Linked hardcoded tourist tax adjustments to the tourist tax accounting category and not to the accounting category of the parent (service)

    This distorts the accounting because the tourist tax has to go back down into a tax type accounting category, whereas the service's accounting category is a turnover account.

    This regression was detected at the beginning of 2024.

  8. When users add a product, they can apply service charges that are mapped to the product group's accounting category. However, it should be possible to block this option because a product group can contain products with different VAT rates, and therefore different accounting categories. As a result, it is not possible to define an accounting category for service charges as the VAT rate cannot be known.

  9. The Check-out Report is currently showing the open balance for all the Guest Stays. But the Check-out Report just need to display the current Stay. So if we are linking payment to reservations this can easy fixed.

  10. When a guest has paid, an email with the receipt should be automatically created and sent if the profile has an email attached.

    This would save some clicks and also save the environment by not printing (you can just say - the receipt is already sent to you by email :))

  11. Add restaurant cheque and meal voucher payment methods in order to :
    - be able to manage these payment methods from reception via MEWS and not just from the POS
    - be able to perform accounting adjustments from MEWS in the event of an input error in the POS, which does not allow this type of action to be performed

  12. Hello!

    There's a feature in the billing window, to rename the bill, which is very useful. We generally take notes such as voucher numbers to report in the notes of the document to close.
    This feature though, is not available for the main bill, but only for additional bills you create.
    This is kind of a nuissance because you have to move the items to a new bill in order to be able to rename the bill and set all the notes you need.
    It would be great if also the main bill could be renamed.

  13. I would be nice to have a 'select all' open bills button or checkmark where we can more easily manage all items / open bills on company bills that have a large number of open bills due to payment routing.

    This will be resolved through additional routing rules options that will enable the user to specify which bill the routed items are sent to (i.e. individual bills or combined bill)

  14. On bill > [+] Add Product > It would be useful to eventually add a "currency" field to change the currency of the product for those environments accepting multiple currencies.

    At this time, one has to create multiple products to reflect a distinct currency in their settings.

It would be good that the bills that are in the Company Profile billing showed whether the reservation is 'Past', 'Future' or 'Checked in' so it is easier to issue invoices to big OTA providers like AirBnb, which have many bookings assigned at the same time. Currently you have to open and check every single bill.

    This could show the same way the 'Items: 1' tab does.

  20. According to STR guidelines, no-show revenue should be included in room revenue when other cancellation revenue not.

    Cancellation fee has different VAT in the Netherlands than no-show (no show is 9% when cancellation fee is 0%).

    9% is hard coded in mews and therefore impossible to separate (using automatic posting)
