  1. Just to add room number by the client name on billing screen when room is in a group. Client wants to pay all bills in his room so I could see not just the names but all profiles in the same room by room number as I can't always know what the names are

  2. Would be good to have feature where you can build a non residential package, that is not linked to accommodation. Foe example we have a spa and we do spa days. a meeting room where we have day delegate package.

    You can create the package but you cant book the package as there is no "management accounts" or ability to add function space in Mews

  4. Financial analytics - open invoices. I see that you have the ageing periods in there. The only thing that is really still missing here is 1 amount: the ageing factor. Is there any chance that you would develop this. For those who are not familiar with this terminology; the ageing factor= SUM(outstanding amount*nr of days outstanding per invoice) divided by total amount outstanding.
    This factor (1 number) gives an immediate glance of your accounts receivable status. Back in the days hotels were always aiming to be around the number of 34.

  6. Right now, marking a room requires the use of a drop down menu. This menu is small, and not colour coded.

    Instead, putting 4 buttons with colour and icons will help housekeepers use this app.

    We have housekeepers with limited ability to read, and some who are not adept to technology. This would help both tremendously.

    Thank you for the feedback, we are happy to inform you that the Commander mobile app allows you to update the status of the room by swiping left on the space who’s state you would like to change.

    Swiping left will also revel each state that can be identified by different coloured buttons.

  7. If you are in Management analytics and you want to go to Pickup Analytics, you need to go via the burger menu again and select Pickup + ReEnter the Filter on all pages. It would be nice to have shortcuts on the screen to switch to all analytics keeping the'Filter on all pages'

  8. the analytics might be a great idea, but it would be better if you are able to custom set your dashboard.
    for example, able to search by company (rather than travel agent!), able to set a specific time bracket, pick up in the last day / week, cancellations in the last day / week.
    you might be able to do all those things, but i don't want to have to do the filters every time i open the analytics.
    plus i don't find the filters very clear (too many that make the screen tiny). some if not a lot are…

    Thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to inform you that as per your request we have added the option to customise your confirmation email per space type.

    In order to make use of this functionality:
    1. Select a space category (settings > property > space categories)
    2. Scroll down to “Order email template”
    3. Enter the text you would like to be sent to your guests and hit save.
    4. The text will now appear under the “Additional info” section of your confirmation email for the desired space.

    NOTE: The text does not need to be in custom HTML to appear correctly in the email.

  10. At the moment you can only report by reservation created date. I want to look at guests in house within a month. eg - the overlapping filter on normal reports. Because when it is created date, those guests could be any date in the future

    We are happy to inform you that we currently support the functionality that allows you to view who updated and task and when.

    In order to view the last user to update a task, select the task and view the “Updated” section at the bottom.

  12. We are a Boutique hotel with 40 rooms without meeting rooms. Located In between centre of Amsterdam and a large (RAI) conference Centre. In case of large conferences or Events in the city we can sell at higher rate than leisure. Because these city wide conference are known for years ahead we like to have a space on top of timeline to place the name of the event with warning like "only sell high' or 'do not offer to groups' .

On the timeline sometimes when we have over bookings we need to play the old tetris move some people and re-arrange their stay in order to fit everybody in, however when there is hardly any room you cant simply move the bookings easily. what would be very very VERY useful will be to have a section where you could dump up to 3 bookings in order to make some room while you try to fit everyone in. kinda like a blank space at the top of the timeline or a little pool for tetris you know you can even call…

    Thank you for the suggestions and upvotes.

    With the addition of the Optimise Space allocation on the timeline, the old tetris game just got easier!

    Not only do you have to worry less about playing tetris on the timeline, you can also choose to move reservations to an extra slot from the reservations module by selecting “none” instead of selecting a room number; this action can be performed for several reservations.

    You’ll now be able to view the reservation(s) that you have moved in the overbooking slot from the timeline, from here you can easily arrange and rearrange reservations as per your preference, or select the optimise timeline button to automatically move the reservations to an optimal location.

  14. First of all: I like that there is a symbol / notification in Commander (in the top right) for new releases.

    But once I have clicked on it, I would like that it disappears, also after logging out and back in.

    It basically should only appear, once there is a new release note. Because like that I always know that there is something new I should read.
    But if I receive a notification (--> the icon shows up in the top right), but there is no new release note, it's a bit frustrating if there is no new release note.

    We are happy to announce that we have moved to a new structure for release notes that has resolved the issue you have outlined; the release notes icon will now appear only when there are unread release notes. 

  15. Onthe Resume of the reservation, an idea would be to have the Day of the date, mentioned next to Arrival & departure
    So when you check reservation, or have a guest on the phione asking you to dubbel check the res. with him, you can easear sya, tyou arrival on Wednesday 2 sep and C/O on friday 4/9

  17. It would be grate with a tablet that is on the reception counter, where the registration card comes up for the to sign or input data. That way we would save a lot of time and paper

Not only can you allow your guests to sign their registration cards from the Mews Operator (Kiosk) at check-in, you can also provide your guests with the option to sign their registration cards before arriving at your property using the Mews Navigator application.

  18. Add common areas (like pool, kitchen, garden 1, garden 2) to assign them to housekeeping and maintenance, to be able to assign task a cleaning of common area.

    I’m happy to inform you that it is now possible to create spaces/resources without a category and see them on the timeline + assign them house uses. The resources are currently not bookable through the standard channels and can be really “reserved” only for an internal usage.

  19. Even if there is only a stayover in one bed of a dorm, the whole room should be marked as dirty the next morning, so that HK know they have to check it. So you don't risk to book guests into a dirty room

  20. We´ve found this link informing that the NIF is mandatory for bill above 400EUR in Spain, but to use this situation the Bill should have two different templates and would turn more complicated for daily operations.

    The request is to have a “Big Warning” when the operator tries to generate a Bill with an empty NIF. So the operator can intentionally decide if it is really desired to generate a Bill without NIF and avoid human error missing the NIF, because by default the NIF is empty even when the user fields are already filled by the system.
