Favorite Reports in Mews
Would like the ability to save favorite reports in Mews rather than have to reset the filters each time. We can save this for export, but if I only wish to view the report, I must reset the filters each time and remember the previous setting used. This is cumbersome and prone to mistakes.

Thank you for the feedback.
It is currently possible to view your favorite reports with the filters preselected by using custom links. You can set this up by:
1. Opening a report in Mews > select the filters you require.
2. Click “View” to apply the filters.
3. Copy the URL and paste it in as a custom link.
4. Save your custom link and refresh the page
5. You will now be able to access the report with pre-selected filters by opening the burger menu > select custom links > select the custom link you have createdIt is also possible to access the custom links using a keyboard shortcut. You can learn more about both in the guide linked below:

To move current stay-overs to a different room
How is is not possible to move guests to another room, without making a new reservation or splitting a reservation. Too much work in to a simple action. Too much work where is no extra time for these trying times with too little employees.

We currently offer several ways to move reservations including dragging and dropping reservations to another room from the timeline, as well as the ability to move reservations to another space from the status tab of the reservation screen or to a different space category from the properties tab on the reservations screen.

task field
Is it possible to make the task field in MEWS bigger again so that you can drag the field to write info in it?
Before the update, you could drag the "Description" window larger using the arrows at the bottom right.

make product report available for all products, not only stay poducts
Hi, it would begerat if the product report showed all products, not only stay products, as we have many products and would like to find and filter them for statistics.

New Timline Colors
The colors on the timeline just make it more difficult to manage our inventory. Having the OOO rooms in a brighter color made it simple to track. Having everything in shades of grey is NOT an improvement

deleting house use bookings crashes the system
every time you delete a house use booking it crashes the system. a couple of days ago it just took about 2 minutes to process through the system, since yesterday it crashes the actual page and you have to re-open a new mews to continue your work. totally frustrating

US Registration card - date format
Registration cards in the US legal environment are in the wrong format: DD/MM/YYYY.

Assign task in reservation
It would be handy if it would be possible to directly assign a task to someone in a reservation, for example extra bed for housekeeping, as extra next to linking a reservation to a task.

We are happy to inform you that we currently support the ability to create and assign a task directly from a reservation.
In order to perform this action:
1. Select a reservation > select the status tab >
2. Scroll down and select “Create task”. 3. This will open the task form where you can both, create a task and assign it to either an employee or department. -
task filters disappear
every time you complete a task, the filters disappear / clear. that has never happened before and is rather annoying to be honest. it is a waste of time having to (re)set them after each action.

Display upcoming reservations on the dashboard
Display future reservations on the dashboard in the reservations block. Currently you have to run a report choosing the booking date to find the next reservation. It would be very helpful to see who's coming next, even if it's in a few days.

Declined Credit Card Mailing
Include on the Mailing list a message to send to customers that had the credit card transaction declined. The mail is to inform them that the credit card transaction for the payment of the booking has been declined and asking them to update the credit card information within 24 hours to avoid the cancelation of the booking. Include on the mail a link where the customer can access their profile and update the payment information.

Report that separates OTA's by 'Multiple Selected Travel Agencies'
Meaning, we can pull a report for all revenue from all booking and also a report for just OTA'S (Not Brand Website), with a percentage against all bookings

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. You are currently able to group by “Reservation source” in the reservations report in order to see a list of all reservations separated by OTA. If you view the report in “Totals” mode, you will be able to view the percentage of reservations from each OTA.
In order to view the report separated by travel agencies, you can select the filter group by “Travel agency”. If the report is “Totals” mode you will be able to see a breakdown of revenue from each agency as well as a breakdown of a percentage against the bookings.

check/select box to select only reservations on selected date range
It would be useful if a check / select box can be added next to an individual date range in a reservation rather than selecting/deselecting the whole reservation block with all the dates booked.
If one of the dates ranges room type need to changed for example I do not have to select it all one by one, time consuming if it is a group booking of 40 rooms per day18 votesYou’ve asked, and now it’s here!

Have a overview of group reservations picked up vs non picked up
It would be very useful to have an occupancy report/overview of all the groups per stay day / per status. Then a second layer on picked up vs non picked up rooms per group. To determine wash and create accurate forecasting.

Mews shouldn't let us check in a guest when the room is occupied
Will be fantastic to avoid double let if cant check in someone in a room is occupied

Show who updated a tasks
After the update, it is no longer visible who put in the task and who updated this task. I would like to see this again

In order to view the last user to update a task, select the task and view the “Updated” section at the bottom.

Notification icon for release notes only when there is an unread(!) release note
First of all: I like that there is a symbol / notification in Commander (in the top right) for new releases.
But once I have clicked on it, I would like that it disappears, also after logging out and back in.
It basically should only appear, once there is a new release note. Because like that I always know that there is something new I should read.
But if I receive a notification (--> the icon shows up in the top right), but there is no new release note, it's a bit frustrating if there is no new release note.…
