  1. Mews has a legionella prevention function. It automatically puts vacant rooms into dirty status after 7 days of being vacant. However, our Housekeeping and Maintenance system have a likewise function, which is way more operatable. Because I can adjust settings: I can choose the amount of days, type of notifications and to whom, etc. And, it belongs to those departments that do the legionella prevention. Mews just puts the rooms on dirty status and I have to go all the way into the history log of each individual dirty room to find out why it was put dirty; there's no…

  2. make it easy for house keeper by just giving data the check out or the stay which makes them feel more comfortable and the paper looks nice and clean as housekeepers do not need the name of the guest.
    with just room number stayover or checck out details and thats it

  3. Rooms with checkout on same day must be near to each other, this would be good for an effektive Housekeeping. Can be optimized by booking.

  5. Can we have a column on the space status report displaying how long a room has been vacant for? This is especially useful for Legionella purposes for example. Thanks

  7. When receiving a message in commander app option should be available to display message as a translation ... eg message sent in english might display an option to show as a translation to a preselected language in the settings. Click on a "translate from english to X language" button and that will display as X language using google translate.

  8. The housekeeping should be able to also mark a room as do not disturb. In stead of only: clean, inspected etc.

    This way the reception can clearly see if there are any rooms with only new towls. etc.

  9. Status screen, an besides of just having the time/hour the check-out was made, couldn’t there also be some other kind of indication (like C/O) that the room/bed was already checked-out too?

  11. Hello. When we have a late check out booking could the color of the reservation change? so whoever is using the system can see that there are people checing out later.
    it would helps out organizing the housekeeping and front desk tasks.

  13. When a guest check-in the status of the room pass from inspected to dirty.
    I think it will be better to put the room inspected to occupied or occupied dirty.

  15. In the previous version OOS-rooms
    Main screen/overview doesn't show the reason why OOS-rooms are OOS. In the previous version, staff could see whey a room was OOS and could anticipate instantly. Now they have to open the room to see, and that creates errors, especially as you then open the page in which they can make changes, rather than only consult.

  16. I think most hotels are outsourced their room cleaning,
    So we must get a sum up from the PMS / or from the app the number of room cleaned and inspected during a period

  17. A push alert is provided on any room that are due, ‘To be Cleaned’ when the guest has checked out of that room so that housekeeping can take action right away.

Currently if you have the mobile commander app installed and you are set to receive customer messages in Mews then you receive all messages as a notification on your phone from the mobile app. There isn't currently a way to toggle these notifications without just disabling the app from sending notifications entirely.

  19. Option to choose automatic housekeeping services to be applied on all bookings that has a stay for more than x days, such as towel change every x days and bedlinen every x days during a stay. Also the option to manipulate, add or move these services to other days. A report on all these services should be possible to access so that the housekeeping team can organize and plan the work volume for the upcoming xx days.

  20. When we do housekeeping list, we have 2 main different bookings, which can only be categorized by segment, that would allow us to make the list faster and avoid the confusion between different segment bookings
