  2. If 3 rooms can be sold as AB, BC, and ABC, we currently cannot allow for multiple parent rooms (blocking AB and BC from BOTH being sold)

  3. Dear Mews Development Team,

    Our Housekeeping team had a request/idea for the mobile application.

    At the moment they have to refresh the application and look frequently whether a room has left.

    Would it be possible to integrate a notification or pop up in the application that notifies them when the reception does a check out?

  4. Why do you have a housekeeping app where you still need to pull a manual report for all the details? Can we have the fields in the housekeeping report added to the app so you can see how the rooms need to be set up for the next guest in terms of guest notes and the number of occupancies from a family of 4 to 2 people in the room, then help assist if the sofa bed would need to be put away.

  5. In the mews app, show the product items that are within the system so that housekeeping knows what to add, a bottle of champagne for example.

    It would be even greater if we would have a setting per product to what we would like to show in the app. Breakfast for example would not be relevant to housekeeping.

  6. It would be nice to have an other option for the room status :

    Currently rooms have to be either:

    1) Dirty
    2) Clean
    3) Inspected
    4) Out of Service

    And I would add :

    5) On queue / Priority

    Like that when the guests arrive early, the housekeeping know the information and will make this room in priority. In my hotel (5*) it's important for us. I'm sure it is in other hotels as well.

  7. The automatic allocation should take the room status into consideration. Ex. we would like that it prioritize to allocate inspected rooms over dirty rooms.

  8. Currently rooms have to be either:

    1) Dirty
    2) Clean
    3) Inspected
    4) Out of Service
    5) Out of Order

    However, some rooms may be Out of Service for a 'last let' reason and therefore may be Inspected and ready to go (but the team want to be aware that these rooms should only be used last). I think Out of Service and Out of Order should be separate room statuses and can be stackable with the clean state of the room.

  9. Would it be possible to change the offset for the Legionella status from 7 to 5 days?

    Bureau de Wit writes that a report must be made within 5 or 6 days so that flushing can be carried out early and at the latest within 7 days.

    This is required by law in accordance with - NEN 1006+A1:2018. This is the same for every hotel in the Netherlands. So automatically a notification after 5 or 6 days. Then you still have time to rinse in time.

  10. The functionality is already in Mews: it is used by the Hotels for Trees integration. In the Mews app housekeeping can click a button to tell the reception that the room has not been cleaned because the customer asked not to clean the room. The button is an icon of a doorhanger on it. When they click it the room status of this room has the same doorhanger icon next to it. We are using this integration in one of our hotels.   12. Dear Madam, dear Sir,
    We are currentely unable to have a clear daily housekeeping report.
    We need the following informations to be displayed in addition to the current informations.
    State of the rooms : Free and clean / Departure / Stayover.
    Today, we are unable to have these informations in our report, we have to check everyy room one by one to define the correct state, which can take us lot of time and effort.

  14. When creating the reservation report each day, there are always the "internal use" rooms to be put on by hand - and therefore, of course could be forgotten....

    It would be helpful, if these rooms also would be on this report automatically - like they also show up on the list "guests in house" by downloading to excel.

    ...and why they are not shown on the dashboard as arrivals or departures?

  16. Nice improvement, for us its not fully what we need yet.   17. Change the name of out of service, out of service means can't be used in real terms but in mews means still for sale. Doesn't make any sense and too similar to out of order, both mean the same thing. Out of service should say minimal maintenance

  19. Within some states in the US, there is a maximum number of square feet (or metre) that an individual can clean during their shift. To help ensure that this limit is not being exceeded, it would help to have the measurements of the room listed within the Housekeeping part of Mews.

  20. Housekeeping needs the information whether a child belongs to one or the other child category - in our hotel baby, kid or teen - housekeeping prepares a crib for a baby, a small bed for a child and a special place for teens - so they cannot work with the actual submitted informations.
    Please submit the child categories to the housekeeping reports.
