Property Operations and PMS: this is the forum for posting your ideas and comments on all aspects of hotel operations, from reservations to events to metrics and reports. You'll find a category here for each of the major topics in property management, and if you can't find the right category, please search or post to the Other category. Where we can, we'll move ideas around to group them as intuitively as possible for the product managers working on the PMS.

  1. Currently if you have the mobile commander app installed and you are set to receive customer messages in Mews then you receive all messages as a notification on your phone from the mobile app. There isn't currently a way to toggle these notifications without just disabling the app from sending notifications entirely.

  2. When we do housekeeping list, we have 2 main different bookings, which can only be categorized by segment, that would allow us to make the list faster and avoid the confusion between different segment bookings

  7. Many properties have different cleaning schedules based on space type or standard interval. Currently there is only a single housekeeping interval available in Mews, so additional customization fields could allow properties to choose more detailed procedures for their housekeeping assignment and scheduling.

  10. Providing a great experience often comes down to the very last detail, which is why little things, such as turndown service, can make a big difference in a guest's stay. As an additional space status, including turndown as part of your operations, could help add that special touch to guests' rooms during their stay.

  12. As housekeeping complete their daily cleaning schedule, they are often responsible for restocking minibar products or other room amenities. Therefore, adding stay product details within the Commander application could provide stocking information and reporting capabilities so that each room is prepared exactly right for the next arriving guest.

  15. Nous utilisons l'application 1check pour gérer les chambres à nettoyer.
    Nous avons la possibilité de laisser un commentaire pour la femme de chambre.
    Actuellement MEws envoie à 1check le commentaire laissé dans la partie NOTE de MEWS.
    Le problème c'est que MEWS ne différencie pas le commentaire pour la reception ou le commentaire pour la partie MENAGE.

    Il faudrait avoir une case où l'on peut laisser un commentaire uniquement à l'attention de le femme de chambre : exemple : 2 lits
